Locating Merit Badge Couselors in other Troops
Directions to locate Merit Badge Counselors in other troops in the Mustang East or Mustang West Districts. For Troop 993, Mustang East is preferable as the troops are nearby.
Please use this ONLY when the Troop does not have a Merit Badge Counselor listed for the needed merit badge.
Directions You can go to the District Web page - District Database using this link: www.mustangdistrict.org
1. Select "District Database" from the list on the left.
2. Click on the square indicated (see below)
3. Type in password: pass
4. From the "Select a List" - drop down menu, select "#12 Merit Badge Counselors - East......"
This retrieves the entire list.
5. Next "select/filter/sort".
Under “Select Columns” select MB Counselor under the “Display”. Using the “Filter” box "M_Badge" “Like” type a particular merit badge in the blank field, i.e. Horsemanship or if the full merit badge is not known, type in the partial title “Horse”
6. Apply Select a Merit Badge counselor from a Troop nearby or from a name you recognize.
